Nineteen of Medvedev's twenty-one victories have been earned on hard courts
A revitalized Daniil Medvedev secured his maiden championship for over two years with success over Corentin Moutet in the tournament title decider.
The athlete, a ex- number one, has endured a torrid season, winning just one win at the big events and undergoing a meltdown at the New York tournament.
His unpredictability on the tennis tour - and struggles with his serving in specific - resulted in him exiting of the world's top 10 and eventually parting ways with long-term mentor Cervara.
Currently collaborating with Thomas Johansson and Rohan Goetzke, Medvedev has gradually advanced in the past month - climaxing in a closely contested three-set win over opponent Corentin Moutet.

Victory also signifies Medvedev has secured twenty-one victories at 21 various competitions.
"It's the first time I have attended a event with my two daughters simultaneously, so to get a championship is particularly special," said world number 14 Medvedev.
"This victory is in tribute of my second daughter my daughter, because the initial championship I got when my older daughter my daughter was born was for her."
Medvedev, the former major winner, had failed in his last six title deciders, comprising in that event previously this season.
The player's counter-punching approach and regular emotional displays on the playing surface had prompted observers to doubt if his ability to compete at the top level was finished.
Yet the athlete has made changes in the last few weeks, attempting to advance forward and compete assertively, reinforced by an enhanced serve.
Medvedev came back from a deficit in the initial set against the difficult Frenchman, winning four of the final five points to go ahead.
The competitors swapped breaks in the following set before the Frenchman, attempting for his maiden ATP Tour victory, seized the initiative to create a third set.
He defended 4 early-game opportunities in a close final set before the champion broke to that score to secure the win.
Fittingly, the winner secured the title with a shot at the net area, with Moutet incapable to handle a return after over two and a half hours.
